How Businesses Can Evaluate Natural Gas Options
A straightforward process for companies considering CNG or LNG without overstating what is known.
8 min
Nigerian businesses considering natural gas usually want a clear path: understand the option, describe the operation, and speak to someone who can help determine next steps. The process does not need to begin with a full engineering study.
It does need honest inputs — business type, where you operate in Nigeria, current fuels, intended use, and a sense of scale.
A working sequence
First, identify whether the need is mobility, stationary energy, process heat, or a mix. Second, describe location and current energy sources. Third, provide a range for monthly spend rather than a precise figure. Fourth, indicate interest in CNG, LNG, or both.
That information is enough for an initial commercial review. Technical confirmation, supply availability and any implementation work come later.
What to avoid
Avoid treating generic savings percentages as a decision tool. Avoid assuming nationwide availability. Avoid skipping the distinction between CNG and LNG. And avoid sharing sensitive operational data before it is needed.
Daxon Energy’s assessment follows this sequence. It helps start a commercial conversation — it is not an automated technical approval.
